Welcome to our club
The club aims to promote the sport of athletics, providing services to its members and helping them and the club to compete at all levels from beginner to Olympian.
We are based in the Greenwich and Bexley Boroughs of South East London with a track base at Sutcliffe Park Athletics Track in Eltham and a clubhouse in Bexley Village. We have a membership of over 500 and active sections participating in Track and Field events, Cross Country, Fell Running, Road Running and Race Walking.
The club is a registered charity and is run by a team of dedicated volunteer coaches, team managers, officials and administrators.
The club was formed in 1890 and so is over 130 years old and helped many thousands of people enjoy the sport of athletics over this time. If you are interested in joining please fill in the enquiry form.

Hannah Hopper (U23)
Coach – Noel Carmody
for winning gold with a dominant performance in the 5000m race walk at the UK Championships, winning by a margin of some twenty seconds in 24:24.42s, a huge personal best.
Hannah sits top of the 2025 senior and U23 rankings for 3000m, 5000m, 10,000m and 10km.
U17 Mens 4x400m Team
(Immanuel Jegede, Rhys Joyeux, Josh Wellings and Elijah Olaleye)
for winning the English Athletics National Relay Championships in a new club record of 3:24.21, knocking over 2 secs off the 43 year old standing record.
