Eight Cambridge Harriers ran in the Battersea Park 5k on a warm evening on 1st June. This was the third race in summer Assembly League. Still a way go to rival Kent AC, but our numbers in this competition are going in the right direction.
Results can be seen below. One notable performance to mention – after three races in the six race competition, Mark Cross leads the M55 standings with 23 points. That has Mark currently 11 points ahead of his nearest challenger, Steve Smythe on 12 points.
Race four will be at North Greenwich on Thursday 6th July. With it being bit closer to home for many of us, hopefully we can make double figures for that one. Graham Maynard organises our team.
