As the track season comes to a close there were some notable performances at both the South of England champs and AAA’s Under 17 and U15 champs. Cleo Agyepong took gold at both to follow up from her English Schools win, winning the latter in a pb of 13.96m which puts her 8th on the UK Al time list. Daniel Falode followed up his English Schools win with another win at the SEAA champs but missed the AAA’s. At the SEAA he set a new championship best of 15.46 just behind his pb of 15.49.
At the SEAA champs Katie Marsh threw really well to take bronze with 34.04 in the Javelin and at the AAA’s Dante Legister ran 11.25 (11.18 semi final) for silver in the Under 15 boys 100m. Both performances are especially exceptional as both Katie and Dante have another year to come in the Under 15 age group
Our walkers as always also did very well at the AAA’s champs with Christian Hopper taking gold in the U115 boys 3k walk and sister Hannah taking silver in the U17 Women’s 5k walk
