The fell runs come thick and fast at this time of year, two races in one weekend in the Brecon Beacons (Fan y Big on Saturday, Pen y Fan on Sunday) which unfortunately clash with the Charmouth Challenge in Dorset where you get to run up to the top of Golden Cap and back down again.

Pat, Clem and Graham, and that's Pen y Fan, the highest point in South Wales, on the skyline.
Fan y Big (16.5k, 670m ascent, BM)
23 Graham Maynard 1:42:44
28 Clem Dixon 1:44:23
Pen y Fan (5.8k, 588m ascent, AS)
25 Graham Maynard 52:26
30 Clem Dixon 53:08
47 Pat Austin 1:06:13
Charmouth Challenge (12.4k, 580m ascent, BM)
9 Christian Poulton 1:01:02
Next up: Snowdon, followed by The Borrowdale (includes Scafell Pike, Great Gable and Dale Head), followed by Ben Nevis! But for anyone looking for a gentler introduction to the sport the weekend of 10th & 11th of September several of us will be heading off to Ventnor on the Isle of Wight for the SEAA fell running championships.
