Senior Women – London Champs Report

All that build up and expectation but in reality no mud! Parliament Hill failed to live up to its muddy reputation last Saturday and so was a bit of a let down in that sense. Nevertheless the three senior women who turned out still had a good time on a lovely autumn day. The views were fantastic. The chip times had not been published at time of writing.

Rose Baker was the first to finish and was followed by Susan Edwards. Maria Macdonald was our last finisher yet still had a number of runners behind her. This was the first time in years that the senior women have run at Parliament Hill and all felt that although the course is hilly the truly fearsome reputation was not justified on this occasion.
