The last of the club's indoor meets was a roaring success with just over 200 entries of which 28 were club members. In all our trusty band of organisers and officials got through 55 races and at one point they were averaging a race every 2 minutes.
Doyin Aderinto was best of the women and continues to get quicker every race. Her PB of 7.63 in the second round of races made her the fastest women's time on the day. There was a PB for Lily Gayle (8.52) and season's best for Keziah Olaleye (8.26).
In the men's section Dante Legister ran 6.85 only just outside his best of 6.84. At the other end of the scale it was great to Richard Lewis out racing for the first time in a while. Richard was one of the stalwarts of the club in the late 70's and now having put his feet up for 40 years has decided it is time to give it another go. His time of 9.70 from a standing start was respectable and we are sure he will get quicker.
