Cross Country
Cambridge Harriers had ten club members competing for Kent at the South of England XC Inter-Counties Championships at Horspath, Oxfordshire. Samuel Scrase-Field picked up a team silver as the fourth scorer for the under 15 boys team.

Road Running
Three Cambridge Harriers travelled to Shropshire for the Telford 10k. Liam Carr (U20M) knocked almost two minutes from his personal best with a time of 39:33.
For the masters runners, this was the third qualifying race for the England Masters representative race in Chester in March 2023. Susan Dixon took third in the W55 age category in 42:41, well inside the published qualifying standard. Sally Carr (W50) recorded a time of 46:23.
Multi-terrain
On Sunday Clem Dixon and Christian Poulton ran the Maidstone Harriers Turkey Run, a light-hearted multi-terrain course approximately seven and a half miles over country lanes. footpaths and woodland tracks around East Malling.
Christian finished the race 4th overall in 48:53 and claimed 1st in the M50 age category and 1st runner dressed in fancy dress.
Despite the bitterly, cold and icy conditions Clem stuck to the traditional running attire of short shorts and Cambridge Harriers club vest finishing a respectable 36th overall with a time of 55:53 and 3rd in the M60 age category.

Indoor Track & Field
Emily Cadman (U15G) had a busy weekend clocking four sub-eight second times over 60 metres.. On Saturday she was at the South London Athletics Network Christmas Indoor Open in Carshalton where she reduced her personal best from 7.95s to 7.90s in her round one race. She replicated this time in round two. On Sunday she competed at the BFTTA Indoor Series over at Lee Valley where she recorded times of 7.91s and 7.97s for the two rounds respectively.
Ekene Ogbonna (U15B) also ran in Carshalton recording times of 8.33s and 8.37s for his two runs over 60 metres.
