Run Kent Tonbridge Half Marathon (Sun. 29th Sept.)
At the Tonbridge Half-Marathon on Sunday Ben Shearer (pictured) finished second and first M45 in 1:12:12. Stephen Hodges was 8th with 1:17:51 and Rob Shearer 12th and 3rd M45 in 1:19:44.
Berlin Marathon (Sun. 29th Sept.)
Race organisers for the Berlin Marathon announced that a world record 54,280 people finished the race in Germany on Sunday, surpassing the 54,175 finishers from the Paris Marathon back in April and the 2019 New York City Marathon record of 53,627.
Among the finishers was club member Jamie Evans who recorded a time of 3:23:16.
Ealing Half-Marathon (Sun. 29th Sept.)
Lucy Foreman and her partner Paul Broadway ran the Ealing Half on Sunday. Lucy finished in 131st (7th woman) with 1:26:16 and Paul was a handful of places behind her in 137th in 1:26:41.
Hastings Seafront 10k (Sun. 29th Sept.)
Having raced the previous weekend in the North East (Redcar), Rose Baker was in action again this time on the south coast at the Hastings Seafront 10k where she finished 33rd overall and first W55-65 in a time of 45:40.
Middlesex 10k, Victoria Park, London (Sun. 29th Sept.)
Christine Lutsch recorded a time of 40:36 for 89th place overall.
