Road Running
We are a friendly and inclusive running club catering for all abilities from those just starting out jogging for fitness to those that run marathons in under two and a half hours. Everyone is welcome.

The information below covers senior road running, the equivalent page for juniors is here.
When and where do we train?
Tuesday is track night. Our home track is Sutcliffe Park where a variety of different groups train on Tuesdays under different coaches. To find out more and for help finding the right group for you, contact one of the coaches directly or fill out the enquiry form.

Wednesday is clubhouse night. A group meets at our clubhouse in Bexley for training runs in nearby streets, parks and woods. Not to be missed is the “Glenhurst Handicap” run on the first Wednesday of each month: a light-hearted handicap “race” of 3.25 miles starting and finishing at the clubhouse followed by food and an open bar. Contact Keith for more information.

On Thursday evenings a group trains in Greenwich Park (or in surrounding streets during the winter when the park is closed). Contact David if you are interested.
On Thursday there is also a ladies only group at Sutcliffe Park, more suited to those starting out at the slower end of the spectrum. The contact is Christine. Other, smaller, groups also train at the track on Thursdays and on other days of the week.
When and where do we race?
During the summer we enter The Assembly League and various other evening races around London. The club has an allocation of places for the London Marathon and the Big Half, made available to members by ballot if demand exceeds supply. We also try to turn up mob handed at some of the parkruns in our local area from time to time. Other than that, we try to focus our attention on the races that are incorporated into the Kent Grand Prix. A dozen or so races qualify for our club's annual Grand Prix, details are here.
Here is the calendar of upcoming road races.

The above covers road (and trail) races, but we also compete in cross country races (in the winter), fell races, and of course in track races. See the relevant pages for more information.
